For the fourth time in Bydgoszcz the Leon Wyczółkowski National Painting Competition was held. The main organizer is ZPAP Bydgoszcz. The painting “Shadow I” was awarded first prize in this prestigious competition.

The mural entitled “The past – present – future of Nowa Huta” symbolically shows the transformations taking place in this part of Krakow. The mural was created at the Willowy housing estate in Krakow, commissioned by Nowa Huta Przyszłości Company.

The mural presents an imaginary industrial space associated with Nowa Huta. The realisation refers formally and in colour to the mural entitled Cubihutic Composition I, which was created at the Złota Jesień 11a housing estate in Kraków in 2017.

Jackson’s Painting Prize is an international art competition. It has been established to champion exceptional artworks made by international creators. ‘Transition states” is the title of an exhibition that took place in Stalowa Gallery in Warsaw. The exhibition consists of abstract and realistic paintings. The color and shadow, closed and open forms, collides with each other, crossing new borders. Transient states, by definition temporary, are a permanent state of painterly inquiries.

2019

The winning project for the mural in a competition organized by the City of Krakow and the Association of Polish Artists and Designers, Krakow branch, as part of the project “Avant-garde – between culture and nature. Ekomural”.

07.2017

In 2015 painting “Waiting Room” was purchased by the National Museum in Gdańsk for a new collection of paintings by young Polish artists and artists who debuted in the 21st century. The creator of the collection is Basilii Alkazzi, an outstanding artist, humanist, and art patron.

Kultur Kontakt is an Austrian institute that has been organizing and funding residency programs for international artists since 1992. In 2017 my application was selected from a thousand applications, and I received a 3-month residency scholarship in Vienna.

Painting “Waitingroom IV” is now among the works collected since the beginning of the School’s existence in 1818.

2019

Monumental Art Festival is a cyclical event. Every year in the Zaspa – Gdańsk housing estate, at least four murals are made in a selected theme. The festival aims are to create a gallery of monumental painting and to build Europe’s largest collection of large-format painting works by recognized artists from all over the world.

The scholarship of the Minister of Culture and National Heritage aims at supporting the most valuable achievements in Polish contemporary art. I made an “Interspace” project thanks to the scholarship I received.
